Beginning the fall 2011 school year, we can say that the Lambda-Eta Tekes are off to a fantastic start! After formal rush, we have 12 new candidates and counting. New this year, we are planning a new fall philanthropy to replace the white ribbon campaign from fall 2009. Starting in late October, we will be kicking off our new annual TKE Halloween Haunted house that will run during the last weekend of October.
For homecoming, the theme this year is "Paint the Town Black and Gold" and we are paired with Alpha Chi Omega and L. AAA Phi a new asian-interest group of Pi Alpha Phi fraternity.
We are also looking forward to homecoming weekend to welcome back many alumni that come back to Lambda-Eta. If you do want to stop by, let us know by either calling or emailing Parker Brown (Parker-Brown@uiowa.edu, 319-360-4057) or Jake Edwards (John-A-Edwards@uiowa.edu, 515-240-8797)
If you know anyone interested in Greek life, we are always willing to welcome them to the house and see if they have what it takes to become a Teke. We are always on the lookout for outstanding young men who want to redefine fraternity. If you want to start the process, contact our Recruitment Chairs Ricky Bahner (rick.bahner@yahoo.com) or Tim Breslin (timothy-breslin@uiowa.edu).
